Q: What insurance plans does the office accept?
A: All traditional insurance and most PPO plans including:
MetLife, Humana, Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross / Blue Shield (of Illinois, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Arkansas), Government Employees Health Association, Dental Benefit Providers, United Healthcare and BSSI. Click here for a list of accepted PPOs
Q: What if I want to be “asleep” for something I am not looking forward to, like an extraction or root canal?
A: We refer to specialists who have a full range of options of sedation and anesthesia in their offices. Some years ago we had those capabilities in our own office, but regulatory and insurance changes made it so expensive that patients were not making use of that option. At $800 per hour, we understand!
Q: Do you have laughing gas?
A: While Nitrous Oxide (“laughing gas”) is safe for patients, frequent exposure is very hazardous to workers. In order to maintain a safe working environment, we do not use it.
